Step 1: Initial Setup & Enable OSC

1. First, you need to download the bHaptics Player. Visit the download link, navigate to Software → Download → Windows, and download the software.

   

2. Open the downloaded installer and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.

3. Launch VRChat. (It works with both SteamVR (VR mode) and desktop (non-VR) mode.)

4. Navigate to the Action menu, then go to Option → OSC, and ****enable OSC.

Step 2: Setting Up Your bHaptics Avatar

Once the bHaptics OSC is successfully enabled, you’ll need a bHaptics Avatar to receive feedback in VRChat.

To get a bHaptics avatar, you can either:

1. Choose the Featured Avatar from bHaptics Nexus, which is recommended for beginners.
2. If you have your own custom avatar, you can integrate bHaptics into your avatar using the bHaptics Avatar Package.

Option 1. Using a Featured Avatar provided by bHaptics

You can use a sample avatar from the bHaptics Nexus, where the bHaptics system is already integrated. You can find a variety of avatars that support both PC and mobile (Quest).

1. Go to Worlds → Search for “bHaptics Nexus” → Join world
2. Choose your favorite avatar from the avatar samples in the VRChat World.
