Step 1: Initial setup & enabling OSC

  1. First, you need to download the bHaptics Player. Visit the link below, navigate to Software → Windows → Download, and download the software:

  2. Open the downloaded installer and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.

  3. In bHaptics Player, search for “VRChat” and select the VRChat page in the Experience section.

  4. Press “Launcher Install”(Or “Update Launcher”) to install the latest bHaptics OSC for VRChat.

  5. After download, press “Launch Mod” to launch.

    Windows Protection may prevent you from running the file. To proceed, click on "More info" and then select "Run anyway" to install the OSC.

  6. Open bHaptics Player, and once the OSC is running, it will display VRChat connected (actives # : 1) on the bHaptics Player.

  7. Launch VRChat. (It works with both SteamVR (VR mode) and desktop (non-VR) mode.)

  8. Navigate to the Action menu, then go to OptionOSC, and ****enable OSC.

bHaptics has been successfully enabled in VRChat! 🎉

Step 2. Setting Up Your bHaptics Avatar

Once the bHaptics OSC is successfully enabled, you’ll need a bHaptics avatar to receive feedback in VRChat.

To get a bHaptics avatar, you can either:

  1. Use your own custom avatar after adding bHaptics devices, or
  2. Choose an avatar from bHaptics Nexus or bHaptics Avatar World, which is recommended for beginners.
